Angie Thurston: Advisory Board

Angie Thurston is Co-Founder and Executive Director of Sacred Design Lab, a nonprofit dedicated to nurturing the future of spiritual life. Over the last decade, she has supported hundreds of spiritual innovators who are finding new ways to address spiritual longings in this time of religious change. Angie has co-written eight public-facing reports on the changing landscape of community and spiritual life worldwide, including the viral How We Gather. 

As an Executive Fellow at Harvard Business School, Angie helps to develop and teach a new course for Harvard graduate students called the Spiritual Lives of Leaders. Her passion is supporting the spiritual growth of leaders across sectors. 

She got her BA from Brown University and her MDiv from Harvard Divinity School, where she served as a Ministry Innovation Fellow from 2016-2021. 

Angie lives in Falls Church, VA with her husband Vipin Thekk and their son Orion.
