Joy Stoddard, CFRE Board of Directors

 Joy spent 23.5 years at Whole Foods Market, opening stores and training thousands of employees in the first 5 years, and then raising awareness and funds for Whole Planet Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to alleviating poverty through microcredit. Joy helped raise $140 million to fund economic opportunities for low-income entrepreneurs – mostly women – in 80 countries around the globe. Joy now serves as Vice President of Development at Free To Choose Network, a global media non-profit whose original claim to fame is producing Milton Friedman’s 10-part, public television series Free to Choose. As a Certified Fund Raising Executive, Joy is proud to be a Board Member for The Nurturing Place and help create opportunities for everyone to flourish.
