Suzanne Anderson is leading AGE of Central Texas into an exciting new chapter of growth, expanding its reach to serve more older adults and family caregivers across the region. Under her leadership, AGE continues to operate the only two licensed Adult Day Health Centers in Central Texas while advancing five additional programs known for their innovative, person-centered approaches to care.
Suzanne brings over 30 years of nonprofit leadership and operational experience, most notably with Special Olympics Texas, where she served as Senior Vice President of Field Services and later as Interim CEO. In these roles, she grew programs statewide, strengthened operations, and provided steady leadership through periods of transition. Her proven ability to run, expand, and sustain nonprofit organizations is vital to the success of The Nurturing Place, where operational excellence, scalability, and long-term sustainability are central to the vision.
A proud Texan with deep roots in the community, Suzanne combines her professional expertise with a personal passion for service. A retired soccer player herself, she currently serves as President of the USA Deaf Soccer Association. On Saturdays she can be found walking dogs at the Humane Society, while at home she is happily surrounded by her five beloved pets.
Suzanne’s blend of strategic leadership, operational know-how, and community commitment embodies the values of The Nurturing Place and strengthens its mission to create a holistic health ecosystem in Central Texas and beyond.
